  • Mario's Time Machine - by Spinal

    Introduction:

Bowser has stolen history's most important artifacts and if Mario doesn't recover them in time history will be changed forever!

    Graphics [8/10]:

The graphics aren't any different to SMW. There isn't anything new here, just the graphics we're used to ( In fact I heard a rumour that the developers stole scenes from SMW. Don't know if it's true though.)

    Music & Sound [9/10]:

As far as I can tell the music & sound aren't any or much different to SMW either. Except when you're in the surfing bit or back in time.

    Gameplay [3/10]:

The controls aren't much different either. But the gameplay & story suck! Bowser stealing artifacts really! You start off in a room with 5 pipes that each have an artifact on them. You go up to a pipe and press up. Then a scroll comes up and it has a date & a place at the top and it has writing on it with blank spaces. Fill in the blanks with the best words and you get the artifact. Then you press y and a thing comes up with a date & a time. You must change the date & place to the ones on the scroll. Then press y and you start surfing. You have to get 10 mushrooms then go into a whirlpool and you're at the place which you put in. Give the artifact to the person and go back. Like a history lesson, only worse because you expected it to be better.

    Challenge and Replay [1/10]:

Let me put it this way. When you finish it ( If you can be bothered that is...)you will probably be so sick of History and this game that you won't want to so much as look at it again. Let alone play it. The challenge in this game is obviously what words to put in (Who cares anyway?)

    Overall [4/10]:

I rated 4/10 because the music and graphics are good. The gameplay however drags the rating considerably. Here's a tip: NEVER BUY THIS GAME!
